TVS Motors has teased a new variant of its popular sporty 125cc gearless scooter NTorq. However, the company's official teaser image does not give any specific information about the new variant. It only emphasizes on 'XT', which could possibly be the name of the new vehicle. TVS NTorq 125 is already one of the most feature-rich scooters for sale in India. Now it is expected that with the update, it is expected to get even better.
The company wrote in the caption of its official teaser image, “We are setting a benchmark in technology to keep you ahead. Be ready to outshine others like never before. Stay tuned to know the next step!” It is speculated that the upcoming variant of the TVS NTorq 125 may get an updated instrument cluster with refreshed UI, enhanced riding modes and some new color schemes. The standard variant of the TVS NTorq 125 is powered by a 124.8cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with RT-Fi (Race Tuned Fuel-Injection) technology. This engine generates power of 9.2 hp and peak torque of 10.5 Nm while its engine comes with CVT. The NTorq 125 is currently offered in India in four different variants namely Standard Drum and Disc, Race Edition, Super Squad Edition and RaceXP.
Its RaceXP variant comes with a power output of 10HP. It is currently one of the most powerful 125cc scooters in India. The ex-showroom price of TVS NTorq 125 is currently between Rs 77,106 and Rs 89,211. It competes with Suzuki Avenis 125, Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access 125 etc.
